The Meridian Firefighters Local 4627 Benevolent Fund sponsors an annual Salmon BBQ the first Friday of August. Your ticket entitles you to Applewood smoked salmon, coleslaw, fries, soda, and bread. All proceeds go to the Meridian Fire Fighters Local 4627 Benevolent Fund and the Meridian Burn Out Fund. The Burn-Out Fund provides emergency assistance to families and individuals who are impacted by fire and other disasters. The Burn-Out Fund has provided relief to many Meridian residents. Our aim is to respond immediately and assist disaster victims with resources for their urgent shelter, food and clothing needs.
When: First Friday in August. Seniors served at 5 p.m., general public served at 6 p.m.
